The DFRobot 2A Motor Driver Shield is an Arduino compatible motor driver shield that uses an L298P H-Bridge chip allowing it to drive two 4.8-35V DC motors at maximum current of 2 Amps. This shield can be directly mounted onto a standard Arduino microcontroller board such as the Arduino Uno or Arduino Mega as well as compatible boards such as the DFRobot DFRduino
The speed control is achieved through conventional PWM which can be obtained from Arduino’s Digital PWM Pins 5 and 6. The direction of the motors are control Arduino Digital Pins 4 and 7. This Motor shield can be powered directly from Arduino or from external power source. It is strongly encouraged to use external power supply to drive the motors.
