Pololu 3pi Robot

The Pololu 3pi robot is a fast table top robot with nice UI and a fully programmable microcontroller.

The speedy little 3pi robot rolls around using two micro metal gearmotors with solid rubber tires for plenty of traction. It can reach speeds over 3 feet per second. Five reflectance sensors provide the ability to follow lines and detect table edges.

A fully programmable ATmega328 microcontroller brain controls the robot. An 8x2 character LCD display and three user pushbuttons allow you to interact with your robot's program. Use the simple UI to perform calibration or select your programs operating modes. A handy buzzer allows your robot to beep, play tones and make a variety of other noises.

The Pololu 3pi robot is an excellent choice for beginners or anyone wanting a quick table top robot platform to solve mazes and other fun activities.

Use the AVR Studio or WinAVR software to develop your robot programs with a real C compiler. Or choose the popular Arduino IDE to develop your robot projects the easy way.

Note that an AVR ISP programmer such as the Pololu USB AVR Programmer is required for programming and is sold separately. Four AAA batteries are also required.
