Sparki the Easy Robot

Sparki the Easy Robot is an entry level Arduino compatible robot designed to educate and inspire.

Designed to teach kids about robotics, Sparki is simple enough for beginners yet comes with a full set of features for advanced applications.

You can operate Sparki right out the box with the included remote control or attach it your computer to write your own programs. Create real C/C++ programs with the SparkiDuino IDE. Sparki comes with a free online curriculum.

Works with four rechargable or alkaline AA batteries

• An Atmel ATmega32U4 microcontroller
• A 128 x 64 pixel graphic display
• An audio buzzer for generating beeps and playing tones
• An RGB LED to create a rainbow of colors
• An ultrasonic distance sensor to detect walls and objects
• An accelerometer to detect when Sparki gets moved or shaken
• A magnetometer to sense magnetic fields and provide a compass heading
• Three light sensors for seeking or avoiding light
• Five IR infrared sensors for line following and edge detecting
• An IR transmitter and receiver for sending and receiving commands
• An IR remote control to command Sparki at the touch of a button
• Two precision stepper motors for accurate movement
• A stepper motor driven gripper for grabbing objects
• A servo for turning the ultrasonic distance sensor eyes
• A Bluetooth serial module for wireless communications
• A marker holder for drawing

Sparki the Easy Robot requires four rechargeable or alkaline AA batteries. The package includes a USB cable and IR remote controller.
