The Solarbotics GM2 gear motor provides an 224:1 gear ratio for your robot projects.
This motor provides a strong 48.6 oz-in of torque at 3V and spins at 24 rounds per minute. It only consumes 40mA when running free and 400mA when stalled.
A 7mm output shaft with two flat sides is available for mounting compatible wheels. A built is clutch keeps the motor within a 60 oz per inch threshold to keep the motor healthy. Choose matching wheels to simplify your project.
Note: please avoid using the "D" shaped output shaft on these motors as it is not meant to take a rotational load.
